Years in the making, Oregon-based Dutch Bros. Coffee has long been pushing to expand to Henderson, including a scrapped proposal to move across from the Fiesta Henderson.
Earlier this year, paperwork surfaced placing a 851-square-foot coffee kiosk at the Stephanie Promenade retail center and CREConfidential is reporting a lease has now been signed to secure the site.
The city delayed the build out of the space due to traffic concerns for the location that sits a few feet across the parking lot from Metro Diner, close to the intersection of Stephanie Street and American Pacific Drive.
Dutch Bros. already started construction on another store close to Henderson, headed to 8806 S. Eastern Ave., near Pebble Road and three miles from its Windmill Lane kiosk.
The company, which dubs its loyal caffeinated fans the “Dutch Mafia,” will also be “spreading the Dutch Luv” to Craig Road and Rancho Drive in the northwest, Spring Valley’s Sunset Road and Rainbow Boulevard, and another southwest store, located over the Beltway at Serene Avenue and Spencer Street later this year.
Job interviews for the four expansions will continue over the summer.
