The former The Cupcakery on West Lake Mead Boulevard changes over to Caked Las Vegas run by recent Cupcake Championships contestant on the Food Network Ricardo Gudino. Gudino was most recently featured on the Food Network’s “Cupcake Championships.”
The cupcake shop features sweet and savory cupcakes, cakes, treats, and more.
That lineup of classic cupcakes includes Flower Power (vanilla or chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream rosettes); Birthday Cake (confetti cake with vanilla or chocolate buttercream and topped with confetti cake crumbs); Strawberry Bliss (strawberry cake topped with strawberry buttercream); Café Mocha (espresso-infused cake with a chocolate topped with an espresso buttercream swirl); and Red Velvet (traditional red velvet cake topped with cream cheese icing).
On the decadent side of the menu, the Chocoholic (rich chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, rolled in chocolate curls and topped with a ganache drizzle); Coconut Cream (sweet coconut cake topped with cream cheese icing and rolled in toasted coconut); Chocolate Peanut Butter (chocolate cake topped with peanut butter buttercream, drizzled with ganache and peanut butter), and the Pink Bubbly (raspberry cake with a champagne buttercream and dipped in a gourmet ruby chocolate ganache).
The full-service bakeshop also features ready-to-go celebration cakes and cake slices, Rice Krispies treats, seasonal decorated sugar cookies and other assorted cookies, tarts with fruit or cheesecake, cannolis, eclairs, and “ultimate fudge” brownies.
Vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free options also make the menu.
Customers can order custom cakes or pick up weekly specials and a flavor of the month. August’s specialty flavors include piña colada with coconut cake filled with a coconut cream and topped with a pineapple cream cheese icing, Key lime pie with graham cracker cake topped with a key lime cream cheese, and banana split with banana cake filled with strawberry preserves and topped with a vanilla and chocolate buttercream swirl.
