An Asian-fusion restaurant from Colorado is currently hiring and still hoping for a summer debut despit Initially hoping for a May arrival at Downtown Summerlin.
Operator Charlie Huang’s Jing will replace the former 8,024-square-foot Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse space, sitting next door to Shake Shack on Oval Park Drive. An early estimated construction budget of $2.4 million was attached to the makeover, set to include an outdoor patio.
A hit in Aspen and the Denver suburb of Greenwood Village, the Las Vegas expansion will become the company flagship and seeks to capitalize on its self-described position as “the go to restaurant for celebrities, athletes, and the who’s who of Colorado for two decades.”
The restaurant plans to serve lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch in a fine dining setting and offer a “social lounge” atmosphere in the evening. Future menu items already promised include king crab tempura, fried rice with duck or lobster, crispy honey chicken, Mongolian steak, hamachi, and yellowtail jalapeño yuzu.
