Still under construction in the southwest, a new fast-casual dining destination is counting down to a summer debut.
Located on Blue Diamond Road, just west of Decatur Boulevard, local food truck favorite Oming’s Kitchen will join newcomer Mazzoa Donuts and an outpost for Little Caesars pizza.
Now confirmed to be an off-shoot of Centennial's very popular Dee’s Donuts, original announcements had hoped to open Mazzoa Donuts in May, but the bakery is now firmly hoping for a summer launch for its house-made baked goods, frequent sell outs at its original Durango Drive location.
A few steps away, Oming’s Kitchen is also aiming for a July, or August arrival and keeping its food truck off the road until the restaurant debuts.
Set to feature the Oming’s specialty of Philippine street food “with a unique twist of OK!,” dishes already promised include lumpia, deep fried crispy spring rolls, and pork belly or chicken marinated in barbecue sauce and served over jasmine rice.
