Chinatown’s Shanghai Plaza is already a huge hit among savvy diners, but the next big retail hub headed to Spring Mountain Road has already secured its first restaurant.
Located at the corner of Spring Mountain and Duneville Street, the Golden Spring Plaza will host as many as 15 tenants within two buildings and is constructing two separate pads close to the street.
Hoping to complete the retail center by the end of 2019, the first Nevada expansion for Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar is officially on the way. The family-friendly casual restaurant that encourages diners to put on their bib and gloves, then dig in to Louisiana-style Cajun seafood served in spice-infused bags.
Already serving in Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, and Oklahoma, Pier 88 doesn’t offer a Las Vegas favorite of crawfish on its menu. Instead, it serves shrimp, clams, mussels, catfish, oysters and the house dish specials, including the Low Country boil, filled with a half pound of snow crab legs, half pound of shrimp, half pound of all-meat sausage, one boiled egg, one corn, and one potato.
Promised to be coming soon, paperwork for the build was filed earlier this week, joining another future arrival at the plaza, Saigon Baguette.
