Taking its cue from inventive, off-Strip local chefs, an upscale tavern is in the works for North Las Vegas, designed to bring an interesting dining and cocktail menu to the corner of Lamb Boulevard and Centennial Parkway.
Located close to Amazon’s fulfillment center and the ongoing influx of neighborhood housing developments, original plans presented last year had proposed an impressive, 70,000-square-foot roster of casual dining and retail tenants, known as The Loop.
Recently filed paperwork has downsized the ambition, but kept the bar, included a car wash and a future food mart featuring a quick-serve restaurant.
The gastro pub, dubbed Scoundrels Tavern & Eatery, includes a patio and an outdoor space for live entertainment, weather permitting.
Inside, customers will be able to dine in the main restaurant, serving food inspired by Las Vegas foodie chefs, or sit at the bar, take advantage of happy hour deals, and gamble on the bar-top video poker machines.
Still to begin construction in the next six months, an updated, estimated opening date has not been announced.
