A trio of fast-casual dining options created by local entrepreneurs will soon all be serving in one southwest building, with Oming’s Kitchen now announcing an official opening date for its Philippine-inspired street food.

Located at 5180 Blue Diamond Road, a short distance from Decatur Boulevard, Oming’s first permanent home will launch on Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. and include its food truck favorites of deep-fried lumpia spring rolls and portions of marinated pork belly over jasmine rice.

The 1,356-square-foot restaurant sits next to a Little Caesars outpost and the newly opened Mazzoa Donuts, created by the same team behind Centennial’s Dee’s Donuts and open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The corner space is occupied by the sixth local expansion of The Chicken Shack, built with a proud, Vegas born-inspired interior designed by downtown’s Bunnyfish Studio. The shack’s menu of chicken wings, fingers, sandwiches, and more than 20 choices of sauces and rubs, are available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
