Hop Nuts Brewing officially opened its taproom at Tivoli Village. The 1,389-square-foot site replaces the Chillspot by SasaSweets store on the western end of the outdoor retail and dining hub.
The compact taproom’s lounge has room for 27 customers inside, with 12 stools at the curved bar. An enclosed 447-square-foot outdoor patio awaits furniture.
Hop Nuts fans can only drink their beers on premises and won’t be able to take home brews including the Harry Porter, Omniscient Imperial Stout, and The Golden Knight, a Belgian golden strong ale. So far, Hop Nuts only has 12 beers on tap, including a golden ale, Hazy MF’r IPA, Fade to Black lager, and Green Mambo double IPA, but plans to carry as many as 16, with some brewed just for this location.
The footprint is also not large enough to build an onsite brewing facility, leaving that task to the original location Downtown that opened in 2015.
“Hoppy” hour takes place daily from 4 to 7 p.m. with $4 pints.
Hop Nuts Brewing, Tivoli Village, 430 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 190, 702-749-3232. Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
