For years, you’ve bought their products in the grocery store, but in early 2020 Anderson Dairy will debut a new hub for wholesome goodness on Henderson's Water Street.
Described as an “old-fashioned ice cream shoppe mixed with a modern Instagrammy flair,” the reported 9,000-square-foot space will move into the vacant, 14,000-square-foot former Bank of America building at the intersection with Pacific Avenue, adding a retail section and a cafe.
A Las Vegas institution since 1907, Anderson Dairy’s Julie Coon-Tandy and Jessie Coon-Humphries partnered on the project with Kim and Jason Jacobs, the franchise operators of Great Harvest Bread stores in Henderson.
In addition to the ice cream, the menu promises specialty drinks, sandwiches created with Great Harvest bread, and food and drink to go. The dairy and its cafe did not announce hours or a possible opening date.
Anderson Dairy still offer tours of its downtown Las Vegas company headquarters at 801 Searles Ave., highlighted by the Barnyard Buddies animatronic tour guides.
