Henderson already has its own Beer District, plus a boozy stretch of craft beer purveyors downtown and now Mojave Brewing Co. is well on its way to helping create a major new destination on the corner of Water Street and Pacific Avenue.

Moving into a section of the vacant Bank of America building at 107 S. Water St., the brewers will join the Anderson Dairy Creamery scheduled to debut an old-fashioned ice cream shop next door in early 2020 and the planned site of Brisket & Bourbon, promised to feature live entertainment alongside a barbecue menu.

Describing itself as “small but mighty!,” Mojave Brewing Co. is the brainchild of John Griffith and is confidently predicting a November debut, with much of the over-sized equipment for its 10-barrel facility already installed.

On the future menu, small batch ales, lagers, and cider, a less common micro-brewery specialty. Gluten-reduced beers and gluten-free ciders are in the works and a staff sommelier will be curating wines from fellow independent producers.
