Downtown java fans take note: South Carolina’s C3 Coffee Bar is headed to the Arts District, locals Mothership Coffee Roasters expands to Fremont East, and Bad Owl Coffee now confirms that it will bring a touch of magic to Fourth Street.
Replacing a closed Starbucks on the ground floor of the Bank of America Plaza, Bad Owl is announcing a fall/winter 2019 debut at the intersection of Fourth Street and Bridger Avenue.
Launched in Henderson in 2016, the original coffee shop's Harry Potter-themed design and menu have been toned down over the years, developing a more serious focus on grinding and roasting its own own coffee when it moved into a second home in the southwest.
The coffee shop, located a short walk from the courthouse and two blocks from the Fremont Street Experience, plans to offer affogatos, cortados, nitro brews, and lavender and butter brew lattes, as well as a full lunch menu.
An estimated opening date, or future serving hours have not been revealed.
