True to its word, downtown’s Bajamar Seafood & Tacos launched a second location right on time in the southwest.
Currently open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., ahead of a grand opening that might extend its evening service, the casual restaurant specializes in Baja, California-inspired dishes.
The 1,499-square-foot space replaces the shuttered Vietnamese and Thai restaurant WTPho? at 8180 Blue Diamond Road, inside the Blue Diamond Marketplace.
The restaurant, operating close to the Stratosphere on Las Vegas Boulevard for the past two years, commissioned local artist sig.bot to create murals starring the mythical, octopus-like, kraken mascot found on its logo.
Yet to share its new menu, or confirm if it will be closed on Sundays like its predecessor, diners can expect a similar, highly regarded collection of tacos including spicy octopus, smoked tuna, and carne asada creations, plus soups, tostadas, and more elaborate chef specials.
