Enticing a line of hungry fans before the opening day doors were even unlocked, a local food truck mainstay and UNLV campus favorite launched its first restaurant location in the southwest.
Overseen by Salome Pilas, Oming’s Kitchen is now serving inside a 1,356-square-foot casual restaurant at 5180 Blue Diamond Road, a short distance from Decatur Boulevard and featuring the same simple menu and similar prices found on the road.
The counter-service space currently offers four basic dishes: 12 thumb-size pieces of lumpia, spring rolls prepared Filipino-style and priced at $6.99, chicken, or the cravable pork belly sinugba served over jasmine rice for $8.99, plus a $11.99 combo with six pieces of lumpia and a choice of either meat.
Oming’s Kitchen joins the recently debuted Mazzoa Donuts and the sixth Las Vegas expansion for The Chicken Shack, all a short distance from a new, yet to be announced restaurant project, the Mountain West Eatery.
Oming’s Kitchen, 5180 Blue Diamond Road, 702-722-3171. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
