With little fanfare and just over year after its westside debut, Solo Qui Gelato & Chocolate Bar made a swift expansion to the Strip and is now serving its sweet and savory menu at Fashion Show mall.
Inspired by European gelato and coffee shops, Solo Qui debuted at the Summerlin Gateway Plaza on Lake Mead Boulevard last April, earning a following for its gelati, desserts, pastas, panini, and salads.
The Strip spin-off on the third-floor food court replaces the former homes of Häagen-Dazs and Nathan’s Famous hot dogs, splitting itself between a gelato and coffee counter, and one for food and desserts.
Open during mall hours, Solo Qui’s menu features penne, farfalle, linguine, and tortellini pastas with a choice of sauce, plus chicken, mozzarella, burrata, salmon, tuna, and vegan salads, and a collection of panini including spicy salami, chorizo, and prosciutto di Parma, in addition the restaurant’s own gelato recipes.
Casual dining fans at Fashion Show can also look forward to the upcoming arrival of Earl of Sandwich, hoped to be ready by the end of September.
Solo Qui Gelato & Chocolate Bar, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. S., 702-750-6300. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
