New paperwork reveals the rapid progress of Nevada Brew Works, one of at least five craft breweries heading to the Arts District, and it ambitious plans to bring what it calls “the best damn taproom in the state” to Main Street.

The brewery moves into a former auto body shop at the corner of Main Street and Imperial Avenue, and the building owners intend to divide the footprint into seven new ventures with Nevada Brew Works taking over two of the spaces.

Aiming for an April 2020 debut and set to pour daily from noon to midnight, the brew pub’s own “Nevada Ale” will be created onsite, joining a taproom, a substantial 1,542-square-foot, dog-friendly patio with an eye-catching silo, and a limited-menu kitchen planned to specialize in pizza.

Inside, the owners plan to include room for sports fans amid a rustic and industrial design, and science lab details surround the brewing area.

Inspired by their own daughter, the owners have also pledged to donate a portion of their proceeds to a local charity supporting neonatal care.
