Brunch in Las Vegas gets two new restaurants to add to the weekend agenda. Locale Italian Kitchen in the southwest and Hardway 8 in Henderson both added the weekend meal to their lineups.
Locale Italian Kitchen, the new restaurant from chef Nicole Brisson and partner Andy Hooper, kicks off brunch on Aug. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with $20 bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, and rosé, and $9 bloody Marys. Diners can order dishes such as the $15 Locale burger with chianti mustard, habanero red pepper ketchup, and a choice of cheddar or Gorgonzola dolce; pane frattau pizza with sunny-side-up eggs, guanciale, and chili for $16; stuffed French toast with ricotta, orange zest, and fresh strawberries for $11; and the Locale fritatta with broccoli rabe, corn, tomato, and 24-month Galloni prosciutto for $10.

Hardway 8, the sports bar on Water Street in Henderson, serves brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A porchetta Benedict and a California Benedict with spinach, avocado, and roasted tomatoes go for $12, while a super pork burrito is $8. Banana Fosters French toast ($10), old fashioned pancakes with a lemon-infused compote (9), a breakfast sandwich with sausage or bacon ($8), Mrs. Crunchy’s grilled cheese ($11), a big breakfast skillet with bacon, sausage, and grilled tomatoes ($12), and the hangover burger topped with a sunny-side up egg ($13) round out the menu.
