Last fall, early paperwork listed Town Square’s McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon as a future Centennial tenant, but new updates reveal a different tavern is taking its place and the possibility of a southwest sushi favorite also expanding north.
Located at the intersection of Rome Boulevard and Riley Street and set to be anchored a huge EOS Fitness Club, the Durango Beltway Plaza sits behind the Montecito Crossing retail hub and is committed to leasing 62,000-square-foot of future retail space.
New filings currently replace the McFadden’s brand with a new project, The Standard Gaming Bar & Tavern, that delivered its initial permit requests last month. One of The Standard’s business officers is a former manager at the Town Square McFadden’s location. No timetable for completion of the bar has been revealed.
And updated renderings hoping to lure more dining ventures to the site also include an unmistakable rendering of the Pier 215 restaurant name and logo. Serving an Asian-American seafood and sushi fusion menu at the Durango Arby Plaza since 2016, that Spring Valley retail center is also anchored by an EOS Fitness Club.
Pier 215 has yet to announce any future expansions.
