A Northern California Flavortown favorite is relocating from its Ferndale roots and updating it hopes to debut a combination bakery and cafe in Henderson by the second week of October.
During its four year, west coast residency, Humboldt Sweets received national attention from its appearance on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives Food Network TV show, earning the celebrity chef's praise for the over-sized, caramel-pecan cinnamon rolls gone wild.”
Taking over 2,696 square feet at the brand new Coronado Canyons retail center, located at the southeast corner of Green Valley and Horizon Ridge parkways, Humboldt Sweets intends to bake all its items daily.
Already promised for the future menu, pecan rolls, quiche, ham and cheddar scones with bacon gravy, plus pie, cheesecake, lemon bars, cakes, chocolates, and coffee drinks.
Serving hours have yet to be announced, but the original California cafe was only open Friday through Sunday.
