Neither chef Buddy Valastro nor Harrah’s Las Vegas have dropped any hints or confirmation of their forthcoming collaboration headed to the Strip, but new paperwork reveals plans are quickly progressing to wow fans of the Cake Boss’ sweet and savory creations.
Early renderings declare Valastro’s Pizzacake fast-casual restaurant will serve “a piece of heaven, anyway you slice it,” with customers opting for freshly made pizza or dessert selections similar to the existing menus at Valastro’s Carlo’s Bake Shop and Buddy V’s Ristorante at the Venetian.
The restaurant replaces the Gifts Plus retail store between Harrah’s Breeze Daiquiri Bar and the Piano Bar. The indoor and outdoor space includes a counter-service restaurant directly off the casino floor, adding table seating, stand up counters, and long glass display cases showcasing the day’s pizza and pastries.
Outside on Las Vegas Boulevard, customers will be able dine with an enviable view of the Strip, admire the six-foot tall, six layer, rainbow-colored vanilla cake sculpture, pick up a slice from the to-go window, or buy a single serving from the cake ATM.
An estimated opening date has not been announced, but a debut before the end of the 2019 now appears unlikely.
