Way ahead of schedule, Southern California’s Belly Bombz made a surprise debut at the Silverado Ranch Village retail center and is now serving a menu with discounted prices.
Belly Bombz from owner and chef Albert Shim specializes in Korean-inspired chicken. Currently, the restaurant at the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Bermuda Road inside the former home of Sunny Kitchen and Hank’s Philly Steaks is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. All items are 50 percent off until until Oct. 3, followed by the official launch over the Oct. 4-6 weekend.
Current choices include chicken wings, tofu, and loaded fries, including the West Coast favorite of Bomb Dust Fries tossed in a barbecue dry rub. The restaurant also has a spin on a Nashville hot chicken sandwich.
Belly Bombz earned a local following through its food truck’s frequent attendance at Las Vegas food festivals. The restaurant also has locations in Long Beach, Whittier, and Artesia, California, with a Glendora location also on the way.
