Burger and beer fans will be in gear-head heaven later this year when North Dakota-born restaurant chain debuts it award-winning menu of super- and “turbocharged” creations at Town Square.
Launched in Fargo, North Dakota, in 2012, Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews filed paperwork for the move into the outdoor dining and retail hub, joining its other 2020 expansion plans for Florida and Nebraska.
Yet to confirm an exact location, Sickies, spelled without an apostrophe, has allocated an estimated construction budget of $900,017 for the remodel on the western side of Town Square, close to GameWorks and the former home of Meatball Spot.
At its five previous restaurants, the casual concept is open daily from 11 a.m. until midnight, decorated with vintage four- and two-wheel vehicle parts and home to a lengthy menu highlighted by 50 burgers and 50 brews, alongside its own spin on upgraded pub grub favorites.
Among the collection of award-winning burgers, the half-pound American Kobe beef Superbike topped with Boursin cheese; the spicy Chowzilla served on Texas toast; the Barbecue Wood Chipper, featuring coleslaw, pulled pork, chips, and smoked Gouda; and a burger prepared with glazed doughnuts for the bun, plus American cheese and peppered bacon.
Yet to be officially announced, an estimated opening date has not been revealed.
