Announced back in early September, but only now filing paperwork to kickstart the construction process, Buffalo Wild Wings and new gaming partner MGM Resorts International will soon begin work in creating a showcase sports bar venue at Mandalay Bay.

Officially touted as arriving in “mid-2020,” at least three joint ventures have been earmarked to join the nationwide MGM family.

Still to announce an exact location within the resort, a hefty estimated budget of $750,000 has been allocated for demolition costs alone, creating a footprint for the combination restaurant, bar, and sports gaming experience.

Partnered under the Roar Digital brand, future customers will be able to place bets onsite and access live odds via the BetMGM mobile app. To nudge gamblers into placing a wager, Buffalo Wild Wings will also feature custom sports book coverage on the bar’s numerous TVs.

Known among fans as B-Dubs, the Strip outpost will mark the 11th local expansion, including locations at the Miracle Mile Shops one mile to the north and in front of the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets, two miles to the south.

Yet to announce a final menu, or opening hours, diners can expect the full range of wings, tenders, burgers and bar food favorites of queso dishes, ultimate nachos, fried pickles, and cheddar cheese curds.
