El Dorado Cantina now has a second location in Las Vegas with Mexican fare served 24 hours a day. The 6,200-square-foot restaurant at Tivoli Village under executive chef Sean Bernal, who heads up the El Dorado 305 in Miami, serves some new dishes, including vegan and several Latin-inspired dishes, as well as an upcoming Sunday brunch.
All the beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, fish, and produce used in the dishes come from U.S. farms, free from antibiotics, pesticides, and steroids.
Tacos are the specialty here, with versions featuring carne asada, pulled chicken, carnitas, al pastor, cochinita, filet mignon, braised duck, lobster, grilled Mahi, grilled shrimp, achiote marinated grilled wild salmon, chile verde pork with chicharron, corn rajas, queso Mexicano, grilled cactus, and more. Table-side guacamole comes with serrano chiles, garlic, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and lime juice.
The interior features dark wood, intricate stained-glass fixtures, gold and red accents, and one-of-a-kind hand-painted art installations aall surrounded by red rose walls throughout. The space accommodates up to 268 diners, with two private dining rooms and patio seating. Hand-painted frescos designed by local muralist and tattoo artist Brett Rosepiler of the ISI Group find a home in the front patio space next to the restaurant’s front entrance.
