LAS VEGAS — File under maybe, but video-game giant Atari wants to open an arcade game themed hotel in Las Vegas. The first, already in the initial development stages, opens in Phoenix, with additional locations planned in Las Vegas; Denver; Chicago; Seattle; San Francisco; Austin, Texas; and San Jose, California. The hook? Augmented reality and e-sports experiences alongside retro games such as Asteroids and Pong. Fine dining and bistro-style restaurants are in the mix. [USA Today]
