Joining a growing wave of local barbecue restaurant debuts, from lunch to dinner, diners at the Caesars Palace Forum Food Court now have a choice of six barbecued meats to order with Southern-styled fixings.
Caesars Entertainment already trademarked the Smoke & Sizzle Barbecue name in anticipation of future expansions. The restaurant moves into the former site of Mexican street foods restaurant La Gloria and a few steps from TaCo, another recent in-house creation serving its own spin on a fast-casual Mexican menu.
On the counter-service menu, customers have the option of pulled pork, burnt ends, Kansas City ribs, Texas brisket, beef hot links, or rotisserie chicken to add to the $12.99 barbecue nachos, or pick two and three meats for the $16.99 and $23.99 platters, served with white bread, pickles, and choice of two sides.
Featuring domestic and craft beers, the side menu includes honey-butter biscuits, jalapeno cheddar cornbread, molasses baked beans, potato salad, butted corn on the cob, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. Additional sides are priced at $4.99 per portion.
The space also offers pulled pork and smoked brisket sandwiches and a seasonal cobbler sundae for dessert.
The always busy food court is still home to The Halal Guys, Difara Pizza, Earl of Sandwich, Smashburger, Tiger Wok & Ramen, and Crepes and More.
