A Texas favorite since 1967 and now aggressively expanding across the country, Golden Chick’s first Las Vegas location is now confirmed for a debut next year, located a short distance from the North Las Vegas Justice Court.
Developer Chris Aslam already announced that he plans to open 20 fast-casual Golden Chick franchises in the region. Golden Chick is famed for its fried and roasted chicken, hot yeast rolls, chicken tenders, and sides of green beans and fried okra.
To be built on an empty lot at the southeast corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Carey Avenue, the 2,380-square-foot stand-alone restaurant is also adding a drive-thru option and room for 54 diners inside. There are currently no plans for patio seating.
Set to be open for lunch and dinner, the project is making its way through the City of Las Vegas approval process and despite announced as “coming soon,” has yet to break ground on the 1.53-acre site.
