A Boca Park favorite for happy hours on the patio now dabbles in a weekend brunch. Kona Grill’s new brunch spans Hawaiian favorites to fritters, with steak and eggs and a croque-madame thrown in for good measure.
Ricotta cheese fritters come with a blueberry-ginger compote, toasted honey butter, and raspberry sauce while a pull apart bread called The Brainiac comes infused with cinnamon and spiced pecans, and topped with a cream cheese icing. Savory dishes include a breakfast sandwich with grilled spam, smoked Gouda, fried egg, and sweet sesame soy served in a can, along with a spicy lobster avocado toast.
Hawaiian dishes include a macadamia nut French toast and the Kona Loco, Kona Grill’s take on the traditional Hawaiian loco moco, made with seared spam and a beef patty, jasmine rice, sautéed onion and shiitake mushrooms, furikake, and a sunny-side-up egg,
Diners can order bottomless mimosas in seven flavors such as white peach, raspberry, and hibiscus that can be mixed and matched for $19 per person.
Brunch takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
