Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is finally bringing his rapidly growing Chicken Guy! restaurant to Las Vegas. The restaurant originally revealed its plans to open back in October, while two years ago, restaurateur Robert Earl first announced his expansion plans to Eater Vegas.
Now officially announced as coming soon to the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, Chicken Guy! will replace a former Claire’s retail store facing the outdoor mall’s food court. Paperwork to remodel the space was initially filed in March of this year before being put on hold.
The counter-service restaurant specializes in crispy fried or grilled chicken tenders prepared with lemon juice, pickle brine, buttermilk, and fresh herbs, and served as a standalone serving or in sandwiches that include upgrades of bourbon brown sugar barbecue and smoked bacon and avocado crema.
Each dish arrives with a choice of sauce from a roster of 22 options, including donkey sauce made with mayo, roasted garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon, plus wasbi honey, peri-peri, and a collection of hot and spicy flavors. Repeat diners who sign up for the brand’s Sauce Squad receive two additional complimentary sauces per visit.
Earning recent accolades for his partnership with the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund that has raised more than $20 million to help support struggling restaurant workers, Fieri teamed with Earl to launch Chicken Guy! at Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney Springs in 2018, growing the franchise to Maryland, Minnesota, California, and three Florida malls.
A future debut date or operating hours has not been revealed.
