A busy stretch of St. Rose Parkway lands a new Greek restaurant today when the Great Greek Mediterranean Grill opens. The chain expands its footprint in Nevada with a third location for gyros and lamb, steak and chicken souvlaki platters.
Diners can order hummus, tzatziki, melitzanosalata eggplant dip, and tirokafteri, a spicy roasted red pepper dip, as well as made-to-order feta fries. A falafel plate comes with six chickpea fritters with yogurt mint sauce while a mezze plate features dolmades, falafel, spanikopita, and hummus.
For dessert, the restaurant features baklava, with a version in ice cream, as well as rice pudding.
The restaurant also offers kids’ meals.
Through December 20, the restaurant has specials including lamb chops with potatoes, and a portion of the weekend proceeds to the Nipton Loop cyclists Go Fund Me campaign raising money for the families of the five cyclists killed outside Las Vegas on December 10 when an impaired driver drove through the group.
Busy St. Rose Parkway will soon host Texas Roadhouse Grill, BurgerFi, Nacho Daddy, and Padrino’s Latin Bar & Grill. Potbellly Sandwich Shop, Founders Coffee, and breakfast specialist Scrambled recently opened on the stretch near the Las Vegas Raiders practice facility.
Great Greek already has locations in Henderson off Warm Springs Road, on Craig Road in the northwest, on Blue Diamond Road in the southwest, and soon in the Arts District.
Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, 3552 St. Rose Parkway, 702-476-5818. Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
