The final piece of the Caesars Entertainment empire in Las Vegas returns when the Rio reopens on today at 10 a.m. The casino and resort west of the Strip plans to offer weekend stays, Thursday through Monday, while the gaming floor will be open seven days a week.
Voodoo Steak opens Fridays and Saturdays from 4 to 10 p.m.
All American Bar & Grille is open Fridays and Saturdays from 2 to 10 p.m.
Hash House A Go Go is open Fridays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sports deli next to the sports book is open Fridays from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. while the bar is open Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Purple Zebra Daiquiri Bar returns Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., while iBar is open daily from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The state shut down nonessential businesses including casinos in March and allowed them to reopen on June 4. The Rio reopening marks the final resort to return of all Caesars regional casinos and hotels across the country.
The Rio joins Mandalay Bay and Park MGM, which also closed their hotels for mid-week bookings but their restaurants remain open. Encore Las Vegas closed its hotel and restaurants during the week as well at the end of October, while the Palazzo’s hotel closed temporarily seven days a week, but restaurants remain open. The Mirage closed its hotel and restaurants during the week as well.
