Two new brunches debut in Las Vegas just in time for the weekend.
At the new beer garden, The Front Yard at Ellis Island, brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. features live entertainment from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dishes on the menu include a caveman skillet filled with bacon, sausage, ground beef, smoked Gouda, and cheddar cheese for $9.99; a Caprese omelet stuffed with mozzarella, Heirloom tomatoes, and basil for $8.99; a smoked bacon egg Benedict for $9.99; loco moco with mushroom gravy for $9.99; and bottomless mimosas for $20 or bottomless rosé $30. Other dishes include flatbreads for $11.99; salmon and lox for $12.99; maple cinnamon French toast for $7.99; bread pudding with maple bourbon ice cream for $6.99; duck poutine for $6.99; and a bloody Mary oyster shooters for $3.99 or with a shot of vodka for $5.
Cafe Lola in Henderson now has a boozy brunch with beignets with Nutella, Dutch mini pancakes, croissant French toast, and a Parisian-style quiche that changes daily. Other options include egg whites with chicken and the 24-karat omelet with truffle oil and pecorino Romano with a French baguette and gold-dipped strawberries. Diners can also order caviar for two with mini blinis, accoutrements, and Champagne. The brunch runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Cafe Lola plans to bring brunch to the westside location soon.
