LAS VEGAS — The City of Las Vegas now allows brew pubs to offer curbside pickup and delivery of food and alcohol. Those businesses can sell basic foods — think hot dogs or sandwiches. Previously the city only allowed restaurants to offer delivery and curbside alcohol with meal pickup. Now, the city also allows liquor establishments — such as Lee’s Discount Liquor and Liquor World — to deliver alcohol. Brew pubs that want to offer alcohol can visit the city business licensing department online. [KTNV]
SOUTHWEST — The $400 million, 40-acre project dubbed UnCommons, the new development under construction at Durango Drive and the 215 Beltway, plans to donate 4,000 free meals to all 14 hospitals in Clark County every night starting on next Tuesday, April 14, through Saturday, April 25. Its development company, Matter Real Estate Group, teamed up with Piero’s Italian Cuisine, Lotus of Siam, Sushi Kame, and Urth Caffé to provide the meals. The company also donated $100,000 locally in the fight against coronavirus, including $25,000 given to the Jewish Family Services Agency to provide meals for senior citizens. [EaterWire]
