Evel Pie, the Evel Knievel-themed pizza restaurant, did shut down its operations on Fremont East after Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered all nonessential businesses including dine-in restaurants to close on March 17, but now the pizza shop plans a popup location at Tivoli Village with takeout and delivery. Starting on Friday, the restaurant takes over the Ada’s space at the outdoor shopping center on Rampart Boulevard and Alta Drive.
The restaurant plans to be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 4 to 8 p.m. selling 60 pizzas per night. Options include vegan pizza, salads, and garlic knots. The location also plans to offer packaged beer and wine.
Diners can order by phone at 702-840-6460 or via Postmates.
The pop-up restaurant intends to stick around until the governor lifts the mandated ban on nonessential businesses, now in effect through April 30. Restaurants can continue to offer takeout and delivery services during the state of emergency,
