LAS VEGAS — Titan Brands Hospitality Group teamed up with Central Christian Church and Sysco Foods to launch the Nobody Goes Hungry campaign to help restaurants, bar, and nightlife operators feed their employees during the coronavirus pandemic. The organization fed more than 80 employees of local restaurants including Burger Bar, Minus 5 Ice Lounge, Hussong’s Cantina, and Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar at Mandalay Place, Carson Kitchen, and Hussong’s Cantina at Boca Park on Saturday. The campaign hopes to feed 500-plus service industry households a week with 30 to 40 pounds of groceries at each drive-thru that will be held on Saturday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m. Titan Brands started the campaign initially for its employees but expanded it to the entire hospitality industry. The group also has a GoFundMe campaign that hopes to raise $100,000 to continue the food donations. [EaterWire]

TOWN SQUARE — An employee at Whole Foods Market tested positive for COVID-19 on April 16. The company tells News 3 LV that its stores implemented social distancing and crowd control, and added plexiglass barriers at check out a well as mandatory temperature checks and face masks for every employee working in their stores. NEVADA — A new grocery delivery initiative through the Nevada Hispanic Legislative Caucus brings provisions to those quarantined or have tested positive for COVID-19.
