Served, the American restaurant in Henderson, closes after service on Sunday, May 24. Chef Matt Meyer opened the restaurant in 2016. Served announced its closing on Facebook.

“First and foremost, we would like to thank all of our guests that have been able to dine with us over the years. Our regulars, new guests, families (that soon became ours), bringing in a new date or an elderly family member that doesn’t get out like they used to...we appreciate you all. This was a very tough decision, but we are beginning a new chapter. Most of you knew Chef Matt was trying to relocate, and it was well over time. Please continue to follow us for our opening of a new location. In the meantime, come visit us one last time. We will be here until Sunday May 24, 2020 (7pm). Thank you so much for the memories. See you sooner than later.”

Meyer expanded into his 1,665-square-foot space after running Matteo’s Gourmet Food Services since 2003. He also ran Matteo’s Café in Henderson, Matteo’s Gourmet Café in Anthem and the Just Rollin’ food truck.

Served joins other recent COVID-19 restaurant closings including PizzaRev, both locations of Miller’s Ale House Sweet Tomatoes buffets, Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant, Hamptons and Brio Tuscan Grille at Tivoli Village, and Ben’Zaa Cantina in Centennial.
