Robert Earl, the former CEO of Planet Hollywood Resort, just bought the remaining Brio Tuscan Grille and Bravo Italian Kitchen restaurants from FoodFirst Global Restaurants.
Earl’s company Earl Enterprises adds the nationwide chains to his growing roster of restaurants that now includes Planet Hollywood with a location at the Forum Shops at Caesars, Buca di Beppo with three locations locally, the East Coast Italian restaurant Bertucci’s, Earl of Sandwich with five locations in Las Vegas, Cafe Hollywood at Planet Hollywood Resort, Chicken Guy! from Food Network star Guy Fieri, and more
Earl says that he plans to bring back more than 4,000 employees nationwide as he reopens the restaurants.
FoodFirst filed for bankruptcy in April after closing 71 of its 92 remaining restaurants. Locally, the Brio location at Tivoli Village closed and Brio at Town Square reopened last weekend with new bar, lunch, and dinner menus for dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Bravo Cucina Italiana at the Galleria at Sunset is no longer listed on the company’s website.
