The neighborhood close to the intersection of St Rose Parkway and Amigo Street is fast becoming a casual dining mecca for residents in the southeast and Henderson and now comes early word of a major national chain making a confident investment in its future success.
Texas Roadhouse debuted in North Las Vegas in late 2018 and now submitted paperwork to create a 7,570-square-foot, faux-rustic restaurant on Pad C of the St. Rose Square retail center, located across the parking lot from the wildly popular Costco store.
Yet to be officially announced, the steakhouse joins the still under construction, 465,909-square-foot retail “power center,” including unconfirmed expansions for Starbucks, Eos Fitness, Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx, and Petco.
In December 2018, early plans also called for In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell to be among the estimated six dining tenants.
Famed for its all-you-can-eat peanuts, yeast bread with cinnamon butter served at every table, and a family-friendly American menu prepared in the scratch kitchen, Texas Roadhouse has been expanding at an average rate of 30 nationwide locations per year, easily identified by the Texas state and American flags flying outside, and an upbeat staff also known for launching into impromptu line dancing performances.
Currently in the early days of approval by the City of Henderson, a projected debut date has not been revealed.
St. Rose Square sits diagonally across from the Shoppes on the Parkway, also in phased construction and originally planned to include Dragon Tiger Noodle from Jet Tila, Potbelly, Founders Coffee, The Great Greek, plus the already launched Burgerim and locals tavern The Lodge.
