Confidently describing its buffalo fries and wings as “world famous,” rapidly expanding Southern California chain The Buffalo Spot is headed to the intersection of East Serene Avenue and South Spencer Street, importing 13 different flavors to customize its chicken.
Launched in Long Beach, California, in 2013 and now spanning more than three dozen locations, including Arizona and Texas, The Buffalo Spot will take over a 1,918-square-foot corner site at the Serene Shops retail center, inside the same structure as a future Gyro Express, the recently debuted Chikyu Vegan Sushi Bar & Izakaya, and across the parking lot from Dutch Bros Coffee.
Promised to be coming soon, The Buffalo Spot specializes in large portions of fries, topped with hand breaded, fired chicken breast pieces customized with a choice of sauces, including Atomic Hot, lemon pepper, Jamaican jerk, Cajun, and garlic Parmesan.
Chicken tenders and traditional chicken wings are also available, or the chicken can be added to salads and wraps. Bread sticks, onion rings, and veggie sticks round out the sides.
Yet to announce its projected opening hours, many of its counter-service restaurants in California serve daily from 10.30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
