Restaurateur Go Hashi, who owns two locations of Ramen Show, Pokeman, and Izakaya Go in Chinatown, opted to temporarily close his locations on Monday to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“Closing all locations starting tmrw 7/20 till further notice for public and workers safety,” he wrote on Facebook. “Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.”
Hashi joins a small list of restaurants that decided to temporarily end dine-in service as COVID-19 positive cases continue to climb in Clark County. Stellar Thai restaurant Lotus of Siam reopened its original location at the Commercial Center in June only to stop dine-in service on July 15, and co-owner Penny Chutima says the location may resume delivery and curbside pickup at the location on Monday, July 20. The restaurant’s second location on Flamingo Road remains closed. Other restaurants that stopped dine-in service include James Beard Foundation finalist for Best Chef Southwest Dan Krohmer’s Other Mama, which still offers takeout, and Chinatown’s Cafe Sanuki, which reopened and then opted to close to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
