Maybe Mexican food can make it in a Centennial space that’s hosted three vegan restaurants and a burger joint over the span of three years.

A trio of vegan fast-casual restaurants closed in the exact same Centennial location, replaced by a burger restaurant last December.

Last June, Vegan Bliss took over the space at the restaurant space at Centennial Square retail center, located at the intersection of Centennial Parkway and Durango Drive. Those owners converted the restaurant into Ernie’s Burgers last December. Vegan Bliss replaced the plant-based menu of Blinders Burgers & Brunch and before that, the first expansion of VegeWay. The 2,060-square-foot space includes a drive-thru window and counter service.

Habaneros operates six locations in the Las Vegas area and one in Reno. All remain open for takeout and delivery during the coronavirus pandemic.

Habaneros did not divulge when this location would open.
