Thomas Keller’s Bouchon reopens at the Venetian on Friday, August 14, after a full renovation of the kitchen. Before the coronavirus pandemic, Bouchon submitted paperwork for a $1.5 million renovation of the kitchen.
The restaurant returns with its French menu, raw bar at the front, brunch Fridays through Sundays, and a patio and terrace overlooking the pools in the Venezia Tower of the resort.
Steak frites, truffle croque-madame, chicken and waffles, and seafood towers all return. Diners can find specials handwritten on blackboards.
The restaurant plans to be open for dinner Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. Brunch is served Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For reservations, call 702-414-6200.

The Tea Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria reopened on August 7 on the 23rd floor of the hotel overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Tea service includes a selection of loose tea infusions from around the world, accompanied by pastries and tea sandwiches. Seatings are available starting at 11:45 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Vegan, gluten-free, and children’s tea menus are available and can be served with 24-hours’ notice.
