Slowed by the coronavirus pandemic, San Diego’s family-run Greek Chicken restaurant chain has been looking forward to debuting its first Las Vegas expansion, and is now announcing it is hiring and “almost ready to open” in Spring Valley.
Operating three fast-casual locations on the West Coast, Greek Chicken’s Middle Eastern-inspired dishes will move into a built-from-scratch, 3,500-square-foot corner space at the Rainbow Commons retail hub, close to the intersection of Rainbow and Sunset Road.
Equipped with a drive-thru, Greek Chicken sits in the same building as future tenants Potbelly Sandwich Shop and Dragon Tiger Noodle Co. from chef Jet Tila, all a short distance from another recent out-of-state import, the California Fish Grill.
On the menu, promised to be prepared with natural ingredients and no MSG, is Greek-inspired chicken, gyros, kabobs, pita bread, skewers, salads, and hummus, plus Angus burgers; beer-battered fish; milkshakes featuring butterscotch, pineapple, and caramel flavors; and baklava for dessert.
