Togo’s, the San Jose-based sandwich shop, plans to open five locations in the Las Vegas area starting at the end of 2020. Franchiser Wayne Bauer, who was a general manager at Pizza Hut locations in the San Francisco area for 10 years, hopes to open the locations within eight to 12 months of each other, with the first three targeted in Henderson, Mountain’s Edge, and Spring Valley.
Togo’s, which has more than 200 locations in California, originally opened in 1971.
Hot chicken options use rotisserie chicken, while deli classics range from tuna melts, a hot meatball to a ham and Swiss and the Italian with mortadella, capicola, salami, ham, provolone, and Italian dressing. Hot pastrami, Reubens, turkey melts, and a triple dip with roast beef, turkey, and pastrami round out the menu. Customers can also order salads, soups, and wraps, as well as hot pretzel sandwiches with chicken dijon or turkey.
In California, the restaurant offers online ordering, lunch boxes, and catering.
