Heading southwest from the Silverton Casino, Blue Diamond Road has quickly evolved into major new hub for casual- and quick-service dining, luring local names, new restaurants, and now two Italian-inspired outposts headed to the under-construction Jansen Center.
Located at the very busy intersection of Blue Diamond and Decatur Boulevard, Henderson’s Bella Vita is expanding its “obsessive Italian cuisine” into a corner space, creating a restaurant, bar, and lounge sequel to its two-year-old destination at the District at Green Valley Ranch.
Promised to be coming soon, the restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows, an open-plan interior, and an indoor-outdoor patio roomy enough for 40 diners. An estimated opening date has yet to be revealed.
On the other side of the building, newcomer Piezza is building a “do it yourself” counter-service venture, designed for customers to choose their own toppings, cheeses, and type of crust and dough. A unique attraction will be the option of drive-thru service, where employees will take orders of slices and whole pies with the option for customized upgrades.
Fly Pie in Henderson was previously expected to debut the region’s first drive-thru pizza place later this year, but the project at the St. Rose Corporate Center appears to have stalled.
Remodeling a vacant, empty footprint, Piezza is officially “launching soon.”
