A new addition to the Mountain’s Edge Marketplace has debuted a fast-casual menu inspired by Taiwanese street food flavors.
Taking over a 1,200-square-foot corner space at the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive, Jie Kitchen Noodle Shop slots into same building as China A Go-Go and the full-service Boran Thai Kitchen located on the opposite corner. An unnamed sushi restaurant is also still planned for the retail pad across the parking lot.
Jie Kitchen customers can choose between soup noodles featuring beef shank, pork belly, or beef brisket, a collection of hearty rice bowls, or sauce noodles including teriyaki chicken and dan dan favorites, plus dumplings filled with pork and cabbage, chives, or mushrooms.
Alongside fruit beverages, milk teas, and boba drinks, the restaurant also offers run bing, a rice paper Taiwanese burrito rolled with cabbage, crushed peanuts, cucumber, carrots, and a protein choice of braised beef, pork belly, or chicken.
Jie Kitchen Noodle Shop, 7815 Blue Diamond Road, Suite 101, 702-799-9420. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
