CASINO ROYALE — Clark County suspended the business license at one of the locations of Fat Tuesday, the frozen alcoholic drink stand known for its yard-long containers, on Sunday. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the county issued an emergency license suspension for the location at Casino Royale for violating Gov. Steve Sisolak’s July 10 emergency directive that reclosed bars to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin tells the paper that Fat Tuesday is not allowed to be open since it does not offer a “restaurant-type setting to serve alcohol in conjunction with food.” Once bars are allowed to reopen, the business license will be reinstated. A video shot by the paper shows a long line of people waiting to order from the walk-up bar on September 5. [LVRJ]
Y’all. You know the place you get the tall slushie drinks on the Strip? Fat Tuesday. This is currently their line. It stops when the video stops. @reviewjournal #LaborDayWeekend pic.twitter.com/I2DrhidK42
