Rao’s, the Italian institution where Christmas is celebrated every night, reopens at Caesars Palace with dinner on Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 702-731-7267.

Brunch Returns
The Front Yard at Ellis Island brings back its brunch with dishes from new chef John Alers, formerly at Holsteins Shakes & Buns at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Flour & Barley at the Line Promenade. New dishes include a French toast waffle, stuffed crunch toast, brisket Benedict, and avocado toast with a beet glaze. Starting September 5, brunch will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Mondays following holiday weekends. The Front Yard offers socially distanced tables, partitions between all booth seating, and service for parties of up to six people. Brunch is first-come, first-served.
Half-Priced Wine
Jaleo by José Andrés at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas now has half-priced wines every Tuesday at the restaurant. It also offers a $36 tasting menu with Jaleo’s greatest hits, including pan de cristal con tomate y manchego with toasted slices of uniquely crispy and ethereal bread brushed with tomato and manchego cheese; Tichi’s gazpacho with pipiranna; ensalada verde with a mixed green salad with sherry dressing, tomato, piparra peppers, and shaved onion; the paella of the day; and pollo a la parilla with a grilled chicken thigh with olive oil potato purée and parsley purée. Diners can add carne asada featuring grilled hanger steak with piquillo pepper confit for $8 and gambas al ajillo for $6.
Strip Restaurants Deliver Food in Summerlin and Henderson
Carmine’s at the Forum Shops at Caesars and Virgil’s Real Barbecue at the Linq Promenade now offer delivery every other week to Summerlin. Diners order online the Wednesday before and order dishes totaling at least $100. Drop-offs take place at Lee’s Liquor parking lots in Summerlin and Henderson. Upcoming dates in Summerlin include September 18 and in Henderson on September 19. Menus and order forms can be found online.
Super Secret Lounge with Karaoke
Majordōmo Meat & Fish, the steakhouse from David Chang at the Palazzo, now offers a Sunday smokehouse with a chef’s choice of barbecue dishes that changes weekly, and Major Monday with oak-grilled meats and an opportunity to discover new favorites on the wine list at a 30 percent discount. The Sunday Smokehouse menu is $45 and includes three proteins, three side dishes, and one dessert. The restaurant also opened a private lounge with a secret karaoke experience. The room also features a pass-through window from Chang’s Moon Palace to keep the Tastys, Hot Chips, and drinks flowing all night long.
