A new steakhouse with a familiar face in the kitchen opens in October when Circa debuts. Chef Barry Dakake, formerly at Scotch 80 Prime and N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms, returns, this time with Barry’s Downtown Prime, opening October 28.
Dakake teams up with Yassine Lyoubi, Marco Cicione, and Donnie Rihn for this steakhouse filled with vintage glamour, classy cocktails, and more private dining rooms than one can imagine.
The restaurant takes over the bottom floor of the resort for a secluded experience with a throwback vibe diners can feel the minute the walk in the door. Diners look for an underground elevator entrance found under the restored Vegas Vickie neon sign in Circa’s lobby.
Once inside, customers find a space filled with navy and oxblood walls, warm brown and white oak parquet floors, walnut millwork throughout, burnished brass furnishings, and antique mirrors. One room features an illuminated three-dimensional, rose-inspired ceiling. The booths come velvet jewel tones and leathers.
The bar lounge features custom wall coverings, marble surfaces, and a gold ceiling.
The restaurant offers 3,200 square feet of private dining rooms that can be arranged from eight to 350 people, each named after iconic eateries of Las Vegas’ past.
The Chef’s Table sits in a room surrounded by marble and bottles of wine with seating for up to 12 diners.
The Pioneer Club brings a private lounge for cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres area, and can be combined with adjacent dining rooms for a private lounge experience followed by a sit-down dinner.
The Sultan’s Table seats 12 in a room colored in deep reds, and outfitted with bronze bovine busts and a display of aged meats.
The Garden Room features a lighted olive tree set inside an enclosed section of the main dining room, with room for up to 24 seated guests.
The Sabre Room comes with velvet seating in a space that can seat up to 16 guests.
The Fremont Room features family-style seating with room for up to 16 seated guests.
The Mint Room offers mint-colored lanterns with room for up to 36 seated guests.
The largest dining space available at Barry’s, the semi-private Main St. Room, seats between 36 and 52 seated guests. The space can be combined with The Fremont Room as well as The Mint Room to accommodate even larger groups.
