Southeast Las Vegas now has a new barbecue restaurant with a drive-thru serving express meals. L2 Texas BBQ takes over the standalone former home of Memphis Championship Barbecue on Warm Springs Road near Eastern Avenue with a 5,995-square-foot restaurant from parent company Texas Meltz. The restaurant features Lone Star State-inspired barbecue slow smoked on hickory, mesquite, and oak for 13 hours.
On the barbecue menu. a la carte servings of brisket, fried baby back ribs, smoked sausage, pork, ham, or chicken, plus catfish nuggets and fillets. A roster of sliders come with options such as chopped chicken, brisket, or smoked pulled pork. For those who want to try a little of everything, the restaurant offers a one-hour all-you-can-eat option for $29.99.
On the side, L2 offers tater tots, mashed potatoes, fried okra, potato salad, onion strings, coleslaw, mac and cheese, creamed corn, and dirty rice. Bread pudding and peach cobbler are among the desserts.
The restaurant offers a drive-thru as well with express sandwiches filled with chopped smoked beef brisket, smoked pulled pork, or chopped smoked chicken. All ring in at less than $10 and come with fries and a drink.
