Two fast-casual chains plan to plant their flags for the first time in Las Vegas.
California’s Fosters Freeze plans to open four to 10 locations in Las Vegas. The 70-plus-year-old California-based ice cream and burger franchise is expanding out of its home state for the first time.
The first Fosters Freeze opened in 1946 in Inglewood, California, with soft serve ice cream that expanded to hamburgers, fries, and more.
The company did not offer a timeline for opening nor a location.
Super Chix, the Dallas-based home of chicken sandwiches, plans to open 13 restaurants in Las Vegas and St. George, Utah. The chain that originally opened in 2014 serves never-frozen crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches and tenders and hand-cut fries. The restaurant also offers salads and frozen custard made in house.
Super Chix also offered no time frame nor locations.
